About Me
With over six years' teaching experience, spanning private practice and higher education, I have tutored students of all ages - from KS2 all the way up to undergraduate level. This has given me the opportunity to adapt to many learning styles and experiment with numerous ways of teaching. Irrespective of the level at which I'm teaching, my approach is the same: I strive not to be a didact, but a clear, thorough and supportive guide
Alongside teaching, I am an active researcher. While my academic background is primarily in philosophy (specialising in metaethics), my doctoral research has grown increasingly interdisciplinary, covering social psychology, criminology, and conflict resolution studies. In my academic career, I have won awards, been published in peer-reviewed journals and spoken at numerous international conferences. Most recently, I have secured a contract with Routledge to edit a collection of eleven essays concerning the consequences of moral error theory (one of which I will be writing).
I have an Enhanced DBS certificate (with update service membership) and (Disclosure Scotland) PVG membership, which can be shared upon request.
